Stephen Mears

Stephen Mears is an experienced Human Resources professional with over 20 years in the field. Currently serving as the Human Resources Services Manager at Howdens Joinery Co since June 2011, Mears previously held significant roles at Ideal Standard International, including UK Compensation and Benefits Manager, Talent Manager EMEA, and HR Business Partner, addressing diverse HR functions across multiple sites. Mears began a career in HR as a Graduate HR Advisor at ThyssenKrupp and completed an industrial placement at Nissan. Mears holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Practice, Human Resources Management from the University of Sunderland and a BA(HONS) in Human Resources from the University of Northumbria.
