Tom Prescott

Tom Prescott is a seasoned Mechanical Maintenance Engineer at Howdens since December 2020, with a robust background in aircraft maintenance, including a notable tenure at DynCorp International from March 2019 to November 2020, where Tom was promoted to Shift Team Lead after just one year. In this role, Tom supervised a team of up to 10 technicians, achieving 95% aircraft availability for a fleet of Boeing CH-47 Chinook helicopters. Prior to this, Tom worked as a Mechanical Fitter at BOMBARDIER and served in the Royal Air Force as an Aircraft Technician from January 2012 to February 2019, where significant contributions included diagnostics, maintenance, and process improvements on military aircraft, including the Eurofighter Typhoon and Chinook helicopters.
