Patrick van Renterghem

Patrick Van Renterghem is a seasoned professional in the fields of technology, research, and education, currently serving as a Community Builder at HOWEST University of Applied Sciences and a Research Analyst in the Business Innovation Lab. With a rich background as CEO of IT Works Belgium, founder of multiple organizations including thecommunITyplatform.be, and co-founder of BA & Beyond, Patrick specializes in enhancing business intelligence and digital transformation initiatives. An experienced external advisor for the University of Ghent and a longstanding board member of the Belgian Association of Enterprise Architects, Patrick has contributed significantly to the advancement of enterprise architecture and educational curricula. Patrick holds a Civil Engineering degree in Electronics & ICT from Ghent University and has pursued extensive continuous education in information technology and business management.
