Joel Smith

Joel Smith has extensive work experience in various roles, starting as a Sales and Engineering professional at Innotec in 1999. Joel later served as a Prog Mgr, Mech Eng, until 2017. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as an NPI Program Manager at Arconic before transitioning to Howmet Aerospace in 2018 as a Supply Chain Lead / NPI PM. In 2012, Joel became a Board Member at Innocademy until 2018. Currently, they serve as a School Board Member at Montague Area Public Schools since 2022.

Joel Smith completed their high school education at Montague High School from 1989 to 1993. Joel then went on to attend Hope College from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mechanical Engineering and Architecture. In 2020, Joel obtained a certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) from APICS.
