Owen McCormack

Owen McCormack is the founder and CEO of HoxtonAi. Prior to starting HoxtonAi, they worked as the head of research at Asset Match Limited, where they were responsible for setting up and running the research capabilities of the firm. At Asset Match, they also oversaw the full UK private company universe and implemented algorithms to mine for the companies most suitable for the platform.

Before working at Asset Match, Owen studied for a masters in Web Science and Big Data Analytics at University College London. Their technical skills include machine learning, distributed systems, data mining, Hadoop, MapReduce, Java and C.

Owen McCormack has a Master of Science in Computer Science from UCL, is a Charterholder from CFA, and has a degree in Mathematics and Economics from Durham University.
