Neelesh Kunte

Neelesh Kunte is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in regulatory affairs and quality management within the medical device industry. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Global Regulatory Affairs at HOYA Surgical Optics since August 2025, Neelesh previously held the position of Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs at TissueGen, Inc. from May 2023 to July 2025. Neelesh's career includes significant roles at BSI, where responsibilities encompassed Senior Technical Specialist and Scheme Manager for General Devices, as well as leading healthcare operations in India. Prior experience at Alcon Laboratories involved contributions to medical device materials development, including pre-clinical testing and product benchmarking. Neelesh holds a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Clemson University and a Bachelor's degree in Petrochemical Engineering from the Maharashtra Institute of Technology.
