Jakob Leitner has a diverse work experience spanning over various roles and companies. Jakob is currently working at Hoylu as the VP Product and Co-Founder, a position they have held since May 2022. Jakob spent three years at this institution, graduating in 2005.

Building upon their bachelor's degree, Jakob then enrolled in the same institution, Fachhochschule Oberösterreich Fakultät für Informatik, Kommunikation und Medien, to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree in Digital Media. Seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills, Jakob proceeded to the Johannes Kepler Universität Linz in 2007, where they pursued a PhD in Technology (Dr. techn) with a focus on Informatik. Jakob dedicated six years to this program and successfully completed it in 2013.
