Ziyi YAO is a Brand Marketing Specialist at HoYoverse since May 2023, focusing on the marketing strategy for the game Honkai: Star Rail in France, which achieved over 150 million downloads and won the TGA Award for Best Mobile Game 2023. Previously, Ziyi worked at Shiseido as a Digital Alternante of International Designer Fragrances, coordinating website launches and updates, and contributing to Issey Miyake and Narciso Rodriguez perfumes’ online presence. A role as a Digital Marketing Assistant in the Active Cosmetic Division at L'Oréal involved creating editorial calendars and developing social media strategies for Decléor, as well as establishing digital best practice benchmarks. Earlier experience includes a position at NetEase Games as a Digital Marketing Assistant for Oversea Games, where Ziyi managed social media platforms and built a community of over 3,000 players on Discord. Ziyi holds a Master’s degree from emlyon business school, completed in February 2023.
