In terms of doctoral education, Zakaria Maouche attended Mines Paris from 1995 to 1999. Zakaria earned a Ph.D. in Geosciences. Geotechniques et Exploitation du Sous Sol during this period. Their Ph.D. focused on Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences.

Zakaria Maouche's educational journey began at the Ecole Polytechnique d'Alger, where they obtained an Engineering Degree from 1989 to 1994. Their field of study at this institution revolved around Mining Projects, with a focus on technical and financial feasibility.
