Björn Waskow

Björn Waskow has a diverse work experience in finance and management roles. Björn is currently employed as the Finance Director CWE / Regional CFO at H+H International A/S since November 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Vesuvius as the Finance Director EMEA / Regional CFO from March 2019 to October 2020.

Before joining Vesuvius, Björn was associated with Johnson Controls for a significant period. Björn held various roles at Johnson Controls, including Regional Finance Director (JCI & TYCO) / Regional CFO Central/East Europe from April 2017 to February 2019, Finance Director / Regional CFO - Central Europe from January 2016 to March 2017, and Senior Finance Manager in Central Europe from January 2013 to December 2015.

Björn also worked as the Finance Manager - Global Energy Solutions - EMEA at Johnson Controls, where they were responsible for designing and implementing financial processes, controls, and reporting for Energy Solutions EMEA. Björn provided training to finance personnel and performed business evaluations to identify improvement opportunities. Björn's other roles at Johnson Controls include Finance Manager - Central Europe, Business Area Controller (Products) & FP&A - Central Europe, and FP&A Systems - Central Europe.

Before Johnson Controls, Björn worked at Finovesta as an Analyst in 2006 and at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu as an Auditor from 2005 to 2006. Overall, Björn Waskow has gained extensive experience in finance and management roles throughout their career.

Björn Waskow pursued their education at Ruhr University Bochum from 2000 to 2005, where they earned a degree in Dipl. Oec. Björn'sfield of study at this university was International Accounting, Finance, and International Business Relationships. Later, from 2009 to 2011, they attended the University of Münster to complete their LL.M degree in Master of Law for Mergers & Acquisitions.
