Gaurav Gupta

Gaurav Gupta has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Gaurav started their career in 2011 as the Director of Business Strategy at Karan Industries, where they worked from May 2011 to August 2013. Following that, they joined Openlink Financial as a Financial and Data Analyst in November 2015 and worked there until April 2018. In April 2018, Gaurav joined Everest Insurance® as a Climate Risk Analytics professional for a brief period of time until September 2018. Currently, they are employed at HPS Investment Partners, LLC, where they began as an Analytics Consultant in September 2018. Later, they were promoted to the role of Vice President in November 2021.

Gaurav Gupta holds an MBA with Distinction and Honors from Hofstra University, where they double majored in Finance and Business Statistics. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology from Panjab University. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained various certifications including the UniFi by CAIA™ Private Debt Microcredential, Python for Finance: Investment Fundamentals & Data Analytics, Alternative Investment Analyst Charter (CAIA Charter), PMP, Financial Risk Manager (FRM™), and they are a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.
