Mathew Carvajal

Mathew Carvajal is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and capital solutions. Currently serving as Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners, LLC since May 2020, Mathew leads initiatives to provide innovative capital solutions across various strategies including leveraged loans, high yield bonds, and private equity. Prior to this role, Mathew held the position of Managing Director at 23 Capital from October 2018 to May 2020, where the focus was on delivering financial solutions within the Sports, Music, and Entertainment sectors. Mathew's career also includes significant roles at J.P. Morgan as Vice President and previously as Associate, alongside experience at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. Mathew earned a degree in Finance from the University of Southern California.
