Patrick Clare

Patrick Clare, CPA has a strong background in finance and accounting. Patrick is currently working as Vice President, Fund Accounting at HPS Investment Partners, LLC since June 2023. Prior to this, Patrick worked at Prelude Capital where they held the positions of Assistant Controller, Finance from February 2022 to May 2023, and Senior Fund Accountant, Finance from August 2020 to January 2022. Before joining Prelude Capital, Patrick worked at EY for several years, starting as an Associate, Wealth and Asset Management Assurance from September 2013 to September 2015. Patrick then advanced to the role of Senior Associate, and subsequently became a Manager, Wealth and Asset Management Assurance from October 2018 to August 2020.

Patrick Clare, CPA holds a Bachelor's Degree with Business Honors in Accounting and Finance from Indiana University Bloomington. Patrick also studied International Business as part of a Study Abroad program at the University of Oxford. Additionally, they have obtained certifications including Certified Public Accountant from the New York State Education Department, Level I Passed in the CAIA Program from the CAIA Association, and Level I Passed in the CFA Program from the CFA Institute.
