Robert Busch

Mr. Busch is a Managing Director at HPS and serves as Chief Financial Officer and Principal Accounting Officer of the HPS Corporate Lending Fund (“HLEND”). Prior to joining HPS in 2022, Mr. Busch was a Managing Director at Blackstone Credit (“BXC”) where he served as Chief Accounting Officer and Treasurer of BXC’s non-traded business development company (“BDC”), Blackstone Private Credit Fund (“BCRED”), and publicly-traded BDC, Blackstone Secured Lending Fund (“BXSL”), in addition to Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of three BXC publicly listed closed end funds and an interval fund. Prior to BXC, Mr. Busch was a Senior Vice President at Fifth Street Asset Management where he held various roles within finance, accounting, and financial reporting for the firm’s publicly traded BDCs and alternative asset manager. Prior to Fifth Street, Mr. Busch was an Audit Manager at Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Busch is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York and holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business where he graduated cum laude.
