Vali Shokrgozar

Vali Shokrgozar is a Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners, LLC, where responsibilities include serving as a senior investment professional on the West Coast Private Credit team, which manages over $30 billion in capital since joining the firm in October 2011. Prior experience includes roles as Executive Director and Vice President at J.P. Morgan from June 2008 to September 2011, focusing on leveraged finance as an Associate in investment banking. Vali also served as a Graduate Fellow in the Office of Senator Dianne Feinstein from January to May 2008. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Foreign Service with a concentration in International Finance and Economics from Georgetown University, a Bachelor's degree in Economics and International Relations from Emory University, a study abroad program at The London School of Economics in International Finance and Economics, and a high school education from Pinewood.
