Manuel Hodecker

Manuel Hodecker is an expert in computational chemistry and molecular simulations, currently working at HQS Quantum Simulations. Prior to this, they worked as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter (Postdoktorand) at Kungliga Tekniska högskolan from August 2020 to August 2022. Before that, they were a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg from May 2019 to July 2020. Manuel obtained their PhD from Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg in May 2016 and was a Stipendiat, Promotionsstudent there from May 2016 to April 2019.

Manuel Hodecker's educational career began with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Heidelberg University. Manuel then went on to earn a Master of Science in Chemistry from the same school. Next, they completed a research stay in computational chemistry at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. After that, they participated in the Erasmus+ program in computational chemistry at Scuola Normale Superiore. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Theoretical Chemistry from Heidelberg University.
