Vladimir Rybkin is an Ab-Initio Specialist at HQS Quantum Simulations. Prior to this, they were a Senior Researcher/Ambizione Fellow at Universität Zürich | University of Zurich from March 2018 to May 2021, where they developed and applied ab initio molecular dynamics and multi-scale methods for molecular and materials modelling, as well as CP2K code. From November 2016 to February 2021, they were a Postdoctoral Associate at Universität Zürich | University of Zurich. From December 2014 to November 2016, they were a Postdoc at ETH Zurich, where they worked on cp2k development: ab initio correlated methods for condensed phase. From April 2014 to December 2014, they were a Researcher at the Institute of Solutions Chemistry of RAS, where they did quantum-chemical modelling of materials. From October 2012 to December 2013, they were a Postdoc at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) / University of Karlsruhe (TH).
Vladimir Rybkin holds a PhD in Theoretical Chemistry from the University of Oslo (UiO), and two Master's degrees in Chemistry, one from Ivanovo State University of Chemical Technology (ISUCT) and one from Ivanovo State University of Chemistry and Technology (ISUCT).
