Doris Friess

Doris Friess has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Doris started their career in 1993 as an Environmental Engineer at the Naval Facilities Engineering Service Center, where they researched and developed mineral separation techniques to remove lead from small arms firing range soils. Doris then worked as a Technical Engineer at Dorr-Oliver EIMCO from 2003 to 2004.

In 1997, Doris joined EIMCO Process Equipment (now FLSmidth Minerals) as a Technical Engineer. Doris was responsible for developing applications using Visual Basic to automate business processes and managed projects from scope determination to end-user training. Additionally, they served as a team leader and programmer for a project manager application that improved efficiency within the group.

From 2005 to 2005, Doris worked as a Technical Writer at Adam Aircraft, where they edited and compiled documents for an Engineering Procedures Manual and assisted in creating required reports for the Federal Aviation Administration.

Starting in 2006, Doris served as a Project Manager at FLSmidth, overseeing projects and ensuring their timely completion. Doris then transitioned to a new role as a Project Expeditor from 2011 to 2014, where they created and maintained tracking spreadsheets and resolved delivery issues with vendors.

At FLSmidth, Doris also worked as a Logistics Specialist from 2014 to 2016, managing a Sharepoint database of shipments and providing support to internal customers. Doris later became an Office Manager at MJK Custom Fab & Coatings from 2016 to 2018, setting up accounting software and managing accounts payable.

Currently, Doris holds the position of Office Operations Specialist at HR Acuity, where they are responsible for various office tasks and has implemented streamlined onboarding processes for new employees.

Doris Friess has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Utah. Doris also attended Cottonwood High School, but there is no information available about any degrees or field of study during that time. In addition, Doris has obtained the certification of Fundamentals of Engineering (EIT) from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).
