Jacob Scovell

Jacob Scovell is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in art direction and creative management. Currently serving as the Senior Marketing Manager and Art Director at H&R Block since September 2021, Jacob has successfully led the brand's creative refresh and played a pivotal role in launching the Spruce mobile banking app, contributing to over $1 billion in deposits. Prior to this role, Jacob worked at VMLY&R from June 2017 to September 2021, where responsibilities included evolving creative operations for NAPA AUTO PARTS and conceptualizing product launches. Earlier experience includes an internship at VML, supporting creative efforts for NAPA Auto Parts and Kellogg's, and a marketing internship at Brightergy, focusing on workflow development and advertisement design. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Texas Christian University, earned in 2017.
