Matthew Angell

Matthew Angell is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and architecture. Currently serving as Principal Architect at H&R Block since November 2020, Matthew previously held the position of Senior Director of Software Development at DSI from March 2015 to October 2020, where notable contributions included the integration of RareWire's mobile engine and exploring cloud-native architecture. As the CTO and Founder of RareWire from June 2010 to March 2015, Matthew developed a cross-platform, cloud-based mobile application development studio. Early in their career, Matthew served as VP of Product Development at Saepio Technologies, where foundational work in software as a service was accomplished, along with roles at Unicom Communications as Director of Product Development. Matthew holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Kansas.
