Asif Shaikh

Asif Shaikh has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering. Asif started their career as a Software Engineer at BlisMedia, where they played a key role in designing and maintaining a Real-Time Bidding platform. Asif then joined JUST EAT as a Data Engineer, where they built processes to provide daily E-commerce data from various sources for the Business Intelligence team. At Angloinfo, Asif played a leading role in migrating data and images from an old website to a new and improved version. Asif continued their career at Omnicom Media Group, where they provided Analysts and Traders with high volume performance data across multiple DSP's. As a Data Engineer at Virgin Money (Digital Bank), Asif led the design and implementation of a state-of-the-art Operational Risk framework. Asif then worked at VEON, where they single-handedly built batch-based ETL processes for business intelligence analytics. As a Data Science Engineer at IG, Asif played a leading role in developing and deploying a Stress Test pipeline. At Cynozure Group, they worked as a Data Engineer, and their most recent role is with HR DataHub as a Data Engineer, starting in 2023.

Asif Shaikh obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Westminster, graduating in 2006.
