Jens Mehrkens

Jens Mehrkens possesses extensive experience in refinery technology and management, currently serving as Geschäftsleiter Wirtschaftlichkeit & Technologie at H&R Group since January 2013. In this role, Jens oversees operations in Hamburg and Salzbergen, focusing on economic performance and technological advancements. Previously, Jens held positions as Geschäftsführer/Werkleiter, Director Refinery Technologies and Strategy at H&R International GmbH, and Managing Director at H&R Ölwerke Schindler GmbH from 2006 to 2012. Jens began their career as Betriebsleiter, providing a strong foundation in operational leadership. Educational qualifications include a Diplom-Ingenieur in Verfahrenstechnik from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and a Chemielaborant certification from DOW Chemical.
