Xiucheng Guan

Xiucheng Guan, P.E. is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in hydrology and water resource management. Currently serving as the Lead Drainage Engineer at HR Green, Inc. since January 2024, Xiucheng previously worked as a Senior Civil Engineer at Green Metro Planning, LLC, where responsibilities included leading hydrologic and hydraulic studies for urban drainage, stormwater management, and flood mitigation planning. Prior experience includes roles as a Water Resource Engineer at Sustainable Systems LLC, focusing on hydraulic modeling and data processing, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Illinois State Water Survey, where analysis of climate data was performed. Xiucheng holds a Master’s Degree in Hydrology and Water Resources Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor’s Degree in Hydropower and Hydraulic Engineering from Dalian University of Technology.
