Douglas Simmons

Douglas Simmons has extensive experience in construction and project services, currently serving as Manager of Construction & Project Services at H&R REIT since February 2017. Prior to this role, Douglas held the position of Construction Coordinator at H&R REIT, where involvement included various projects such as Building Envelope and Glazing, Waterproofing, and Heritage Building Remediation. Earlier, Douglas contributed to Brookfield Office Properties Canada as Project Coordinator and Building & Construction Services Supervisor, managing capital projects including drive ramp replacements and skylight refurbishments. Douglas’s career began at KBM Commercial Floor Coverings, focusing on commercial maintenance. Douglas is also pursuing an RPA designation to further enhance professional expertise.
