Aruna Jammalamadaka

Aruna Jammalamadaka has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. In 2008, they started their career as a research intern at HRL Laboratories, where they gained valuable experience in their field. In 2011, they worked as a research intern at Mayachitra, Inc., where they focused on action segmentation and recognition in large video databases as part of DARPA's VIRAT program. In 2014, Aruna joined Social Intelligence Corp as a lead data scientist, where they contributed to the development of various products including employment background screenings, insurance claims investigations, corporate due diligence, and government services. Currently, since 2016, they serve as a research staff member at HRL Laboratories, LLC. Throughout their career, Aruna has demonstrated expertise in research and analysis in the field.

Aruna Jammalamadaka pursued their education at UC Santa Barbara. Aruna completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from 2002 to 2006. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in Computational Science from 2006 to 2007. Aruna's educational journey continued as they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bioinformatics from 2008 to 2014.
