Kia K. Jaikaran

Kia K. Jaikaran has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. From 2011 to 2017, they worked as a Clerk at NIPDEC, a Language Assistant at Centre International d'Etudes Pedagogiques (CIEP) from 2011 to 2014, and a Language Assistant at Lyceé Professionnel Les Franchises from 2014 to 2016. Kia K. also worked as an Acting Communications Officer and Unit Assistant-Communications at the Association of Caribbean States from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, they were Head of Regional Sales (Greater Caribbean) at HRplus Software Limited, where they were responsible for spearheading sales for the Caribbean and neighboring territories, maintaining and expanding client base across numerous industries, providing ongoing support for the sales and implementation of software products and services, collaborating with CEO and Senior Managers to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies, providing market research and insight to maximize revenue and meet targets, preparing reports on sales and forecasting on quarterly sales goals, managing social media platforms, and developing educational material on products and new features. Additionally, they were the Founder of Enticing Icing TT from 2016 to 2017, where they welcomed customers to Dessert Island, and worked to provide pleasure and perfection through their baking.

Kia K. Jaikaran's education history includes a High School Diploma from Holy Faith Convent, Penal in 2008, a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature, Communication Studies from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus in 2013, a Bachelor of Science in International Relations and Affairs from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus in 2013, and a Master of Science in Global Studies from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus in 2018. In addition, Jaikaran has obtained several certifications, including ISO 27001 Master and Foundation certifications from the International Organization for Standardization in 2019, and various courses from LinkedIn and Udemy in 2020.
