Mustafa Aziz has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Mustafa began their career as an Accountant at Ernst & Young in 1981 before moving on to become the Chief Internal Auditor at ICI Pakistan Limited in 1985. At ICI Pakistan, they also served as the Corporate IT Manager and managed a team of professionals. After their tenure at ICI Pakistan, Mustafa Aziz worked as a Project Manager at CMINC Canada in 1997. Mustafa then joined GlaxoSmithKline Pakistan in 1998 as the Chief Financial Officer, where they held a senior leadership position and was responsible for financial planning and execution. From 2008 to 2009, they served as the CFO of Saudi Tadawi Healthcare Company. In 2009, they worked as a Freelance Consultant at Mattila Consulting, LLC until 2012. After that, they held the position of CFO at the Education Fund for Sindh - EFS from 2012 to 2013. Subsequently, they served as the CFO at Aga Khan Health Service Pakistan from 2013 to 2014. Finally, they worked as the CFO at Pharmatec Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd from 2014 to 2016, and currently, they hold the position of Chief Financial Officer at Human Resource Solutions International - HRSI since 2018.
Mustafa Aziz attended St Anthony's High School in Lahore from 1958 to 1968, where they completed their Matriculation degree in Pre Engineering. Mustafa then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Statistics from Forman Christian College, from 1969 to 1973. Following this, Mustafa enrolled at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Pakistan and studied Financial and Management Accounting, Auditing, Corporate and Commercial Tax Laws from 1974 to 1979. In January 1980, they obtained the Chartered Accountant certification from the same institute.
