Dave Bissen, PE, SCWI

Dave Bissen, PE, SCWI has a long and varied career in the engineering and project management fields. Dave began their career in 1997 as a Manager of Structural Quality Control at Schwing America. In 2004, they moved to Hamon Deltak, Inc., A Subsidiary of Hamon Corporation, where they worked as a Project Engineer. In 2008, they became Manager of Mechanical Engineering at Zachry Engineering. In 2016, they joined Innova Global as a Senior Project Engineer. In 2019, they began working as an Engineering Manager at Corval Group, Inc. and as an Independent Contractor. In 2021, they moved to Anderson Dahlen, Inc. as a Project Manager and in 2022 they took on the role of Lead Project Manager at HRST, Inc. Throughout their career, Dave has been responsible for providing leadership, management and accountability for project management groups, overseeing and coordinating all phases of engineering, developing and executing effective production plans, ensuring achievement of goals, budget and customer satisfaction objectives, and providing front-end loading (FEL-2 & FEL-3) project development, including scoping, cost estimates, schedules, and risk mitigation.

Dave Bissen, PE, SCWI obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Dave was then certified as a Professional Engineer by the State of Minnesota in September 1990. In January 2019, they obtained their Senior Certified Welding Inspector (SCWI) certification from the American Welding Society.
