Safety Manager at HRST

Ricardo Hernandez has an extensive work history in safety management. Ricardo began their career in 2010 as a Safety Manager at Bloodworth Marine, where they developed accident-prevention, loss-control systems and programs. In 2011, they moved to HydroChem LLC as a Safety Specialist, where they trained forklift operators and enforced the use of safety equipment. From 2012 to 2015, Ricardo was a Safety Coordinator at Performance Blasting and Coatings, where they inspected specified areas for fire-prevention equipment, identified problems, and tested working areas for noise, toxic and other hazards. In 2015, they joined Sprint Waste Service as a Safety Manager, where they were tasked with implementing safety policies, procedures, and training programs. Ricardo is currently employed at HRST, Inc. as a Safety Manager.

Ricardo Hernandez completed an Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) degree from the Academy of Medical & Health Science between 1993 and 1996. Ricardo also completed a course in Industrial Safety Technology/Technician from Safety Star Industrial. In June 2005, they obtained a CSST certification from NCCER.
