Slaven Smojver

Slaven Smojver serves as the Director of the Information Systems Supervision Department at Croatian National Bank since June 2004, overseeing ICT and cybersecurity risk in financial institutions in Croatia and acting as Deputy Head of the FinTech Working Group. Slaven's previous roles include Banking Supervisor (IT) - Advisor, focusing on information systems supervision and IT-related guidance, and On-Site Supervisor, Information Systems Specialist, developing legal frameworks for financial institutions. Additionally, Slaven has contributed to academia as a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Economics & Business Zagreb and previously as a lecturer at Algebra University College. Slaven's early career includes positions at Banksoft, where management and software development in banking technology were key responsibilities. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Information Sciences and a master's in both Information Technology Management and Electrical Engineering from the University of Zagreb.
