Bharat Gupta is a seasoned professional in the field of operational and technology risk management, currently serving as Director of Resilience Risk at HSBC Innovation Banking since October 2023, where responsible for implementing the Operational Risk component of the Risk Management Framework. Previously, Bharat held various director-level positions at Barclays from September 2007 to September 2023, overseeing 2LoD Technology Risk for Barclays International and managing risk governance for Transaction Operations and Payments. Notable achievements include leading risk oversight for diverse functional areas, implementing a comprehensive operational risk framework, and transforming risk management processes across multiple regions. Prior to Barclays, Bharat held significant roles at AXA Sunlife and Tata Consultancy Services, culminating in a solid foundation in project management and technology consulting.
