Freddie Lavender currently serves as a Senior Associate in Enterprise Software, Venture & Growth at HSBC Innovation Banking since July 2023. Previously, Freddie was part of the Newton Venture Program as a Newton Fellow from March 2024 to June 2024, focusing on promoting diversity in venture investment. Freddie has also held positions at Silicon Valley Bank as an Associate in Enterprise Software, Venture & Growth (September 2021 - June 2023) and participated in the Associate Development Program. Earlier experience includes working as a Maths Online Tutor at MyTutor.co.uk, where over 80 hours of tutoring were provided, and in Corporate Restructuring at Duff & Phelps, which involved stakeholder management and market research. Freddie earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Loughborough University, graduating in 2021, after attending Alcester Grammar School.
