Neil Mulhern

Neil Mulhern has extensive experience in compliance and KYC operations across various financial institutions. Currently serving as a KYC Onboarding QC Analyst and KYC Refresh Team Lead at HSBC Innovation Banking since March 2023, Neil has previously held similar leadership roles at Silicon Valley Bank, Santa Clara Bank, and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. With foundational experience as Head of the Research Department at C6 Intelligence Group and as an Assistant Language Teacher in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program, Neil demonstrates a strong background in regulatory compliance. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Certificate in Compliance and an Anti-Money Laundering Awareness Certificate from the International Compliance Association, as well as a MA in International Relations from the University of Sussex.
