Sam Cooper

Sam Cooper, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in foreign exchange sales trading. Currently serving as a Director and FX Sales Trader at SVB UK since August 2022, Sam previously held similar roles at Silicon Valley Bank from July 2016 to April 2023, where responsibilities included directorship and vice presidency in FX sales trading. Prior experience includes an Analyst position at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management, as well as roles at JWG Group Ltd as a Research Analyst, TUI Travel PLC as a Crystal Ski Representative, and the Royal Bank of Scotland as a Lending Consultant. Sam holds the Investment Management Certificate from CFA Society UK and graduated in Chemistry from the University of Nottingham in 2011.
