Ali Taufeeq is a Director in HSBC's Debt Capital Markets team, bringing 13 years of industry experience in advising sovereigns, corporates, and financial institutions on debt fundraising. Ali has originated and executed over 75 projects across DCM and syndicated finance, many of which earned awards for their complexity and high value. By leading an eclectic team of finance professionals, Ali has helped maintain HSBC's leadership in regional Debt Capital Markets and Islamic finance. Prior to this role, Ali gained experience at Deloitte UK and Citi as an intern, and completed a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance with First Class Honours from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
