Amar Mehendale

Amar Mehendale began their career at Ernst & Young, where they conducted statutory and management audits for banks and corporate clients from 1993 to 1997. Following this, they served as a Business Analyst at Standard Chartered Bank from 1997 to 1999, contributing to a core bank replacement project. Amar then worked at KPMG Consulting for several years in various managerial roles, overseeing business development and project management in banking technology and process consulting. They held positions at Citi Bank and ANZ, where they focused on cash management and product development in Asia. Currently, Amar is the Chief Operating Officer for Securities Services MENAT at HSBC, overseeing custody and clearing business in the Middle East and North Africa.
