Amitabha Banerjee

Amitabha Banerjee currently serves as Lead AVP at HSBC since January 2018, overseeing model monitoring for regulatory IFRS9 provisioning models and leading Acquisition vintage profitability modeling. Previously, Amitabha held the position of AVP focused on regulatory model monitoring and worked as Manager and Assistant Manager in retail risk management, specifically in loss forecasting. Prior to HSBC, Amitabha was a Senior Business Analyst at EXL from August 2014 to December 2017, where responsibilities included portfolio credit loss forecasting for a major US bank. Amitabha earned a Bachelor of Engineering in electrical engineering from IIEST, Shibpur, between 2010 and 2014 and completed secondary education at South Point High School with a focus on Science and Statistics from 2003 to 2010.
