Ankur Lal

Ankur Lal is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Associate Director/Vice President at HSBC since January 2018, where responsibilities include co-owning the GFX team in Bangalore and managing compliance for Trade and Transactions reporting related to various regulations. Ankur has established the SFTR Ops team during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and successfully integrated a controls framework to enhance reporting efficiency. Prior roles include Senior Risk Analyst and Risk Analyst at Royal Bank of Scotland and Credit Analyst at CRISIL Limited, among others. Ankur holds a PGDM in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Trichy, and a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication from Dr. B.C. Roy Engineering College.
