Don Malintha Weerasinghe has extensive experience in risk management, compliance, and financial crime prevention. Serving as the Chief Risk Officer & Fraud Prevention Officer at Salim Exchange from August 2021 to January 2022, Don led enterprise-wide risk assessments and product risk evaluations. Prior roles include Compliance Officer at GCC Exchange and various positions at HSBC, where Don was recognized for high-quality work in financial crime and regulatory compliance across the Asia Pacific region. At HSBC, responsibilities included transaction monitoring, AML and CFT investigations, and training staff on AML/CTF protocols.
