Edward Li

Edward Li, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in equity derivatives and trading strategies. Currently serving as a Director at HSBC since November 2021, Edward previously held the position of Executive Director at BOC International from November 2016 to November 2021 and at UBS from August 2009 to October 2016. During the tenure at UBS, Edward established the largest retail franchise of listed products in Hong Kong and Singapore while developing smart trading strategies and analytics programs. Earlier experience includes roles as an Equity Derivative Trader at Royal Bank of Scotland and ABN AMRO, where Edward managed portfolios of listed and OTC derivatives and customized trading systems. Edward's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Additionally, Edward attended The University of Texas at Austin as an exchange student.
