Ibrahim Aksoy

Ibrahim Aksoy is the Chief Economist and Head of Investment Strategy at HSBC Global Asset Management Türkiye and an adjunct lecturer in Economics and Finance at Boğaziçi University. They have been part of HSBC since 2014, where they lead macroeconomic and investment research on the Turkish and global markets. Prior to HSBC, Ibrahim served as Chief Economist at Seker Invest and Gedik Investment, and held an economist position at GlobalSource Turkey. They hold BA degrees in Economics and Sociology from Boğaziçi University and a Master’s Degree in Financial Engineering and Risk Management from Özyeğin University.
