John Fairbrass

John Fairbrass is an experienced professional in the field of information security and technology risk management, currently serving as the Digital Business Services Europe Chief Controls Officer for UK (NRFB) and CIIOM at HSBC since September 2015. Prior to this role, John held positions at Citi from January 2006 to August 2015, including Senior Controls Officer and TISO within the Technology Development Unit. John's earlier experience includes a consultancy role at ABN AMRO focused on defining information security processes and a position as Domain Architect at UBS Investment Bank. With a Master's degree in Information Technology Security from the University of Westminster, completed between 2003 and 2006, John has developed a strong foundation in information security and controls throughout a career spanning over two decades.
