Karen began their career after earning a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they also completed a Master's degree in Computer Science. Their early career involved significant research in reverse engineering and malware analysis, reflecting a strong commitment to enhancing cyber security practices.
