Kaush Ruwangalla is currently the Global Head of Financial Crime Compliance at HSBC’s Global Trade & Receivables Finance business. They have extensive experience in Compliance and Risk leadership across Trade Finance, Payments, Commercial Banking, and Retail Banking. Previously, Kaush held roles as the Global Head of Sanctions for HSBC and Regional Chief Control Officer for HSBC Europe. In addition to their professional experience, Kaush is actively involved in industry committees and frequently participates as a panellist in Financial Crime Compliance events. Kaush is pursuing a degree in FinTech at the University of Oxford.
