Martin Doherty

Martin Doherty is a seasoned Chief Information Security Officer with extensive experience in the information security industry, specializing in Security Operations, Cyber Threat Response, and Operational Risk Management. Throughout their career, they have effectively led teams and projects across several organizations, including as Head of Cyber and Risk at mx51, where they ensured organizational cybersecurity and risk management. Martin also held critical roles at Macquarie Group and HP, managing cybersecurity operations and service delivery in Asia, Pacific, and Japan. They are currently serving as the CISO for HSBC Australia, drawing on a strong educational background in Computer Science from The University of Sheffield and a CELTA certification.
