Naresh Chakkula

Naresh Chakkula is a Vice President at HSBC, with extensive experience in the Retail Risk Modeling team since May 2008. Responsibilities include managing the Basel-II capital estimation and reporting process, developing Basel PD/EAD/LGD models for retail and SME portfolios, and leading global credit risk modeling projects utilizing Advanced Machine Learning techniques. Previous roles at HSBC include Assistant Vice President and Lead Manager, where Naresh contributed to model management and regulatory compliance. Prior to HSBC, Naresh worked at GENPACT and ACNielsen ORG-MARG, developing collection strategies and analyzing market research data. Naresh holds a Master’s Degree in Statistics from Hyderabad Central University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics from Loyola College.
