Ricky W. Liu

Ricky W. Liu is an experienced portfolio manager and investment professional specializing in US and global credit, particularly in leveraged finance and high yield strategies. Currently serving as the Head of Global High Yield at HSBC Asset Management, Ricky has played a pivotal role in establishing the credit capability in the New York office, which has grown to over $25 billion in assets under management over 15 years. Previously, Ricky held various roles at HSBC, beginning as a Credit Analyst and advancing to Senior Portfolio Manager, contributing to multiple fixed income strategies. Ricky also gained early experience in investment banking at Credit Suisse First Boston and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance at The University of British Columbia.
