Thuy Thu Bui is currently the Vice President of Product & Market Development at HSBC, a position held since 2011. Previously, they served as a Senior Official at the State Securities Commission of Vietnam from 2003 to 2011, focusing on policy making and strategy planning. Thuy started their career at the Hanoi Stock Exchange in the Trading Management Division from 1998 to 2003. They earned a Bachelor of Arts in Banking and Finance from the National Economics University in Vietnam, followed by a Master of Arts in Development Economics and International Development from the International Institute of Social Studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Thuy also completed a program in Applied Economics at the Joint Vienna Institute, receiving a Letter of Excellence.
