Rebecca Niemerg currently serves as the Supervisor of Mission Integration and Spiritual Care at HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital Highland since October 2022. Rebecca previously held the position of Regional Director of Mission Integration for Southern Illinois at SSM Health from May 2019 to October 2022 and served as the Director of Mission and Values Integration at Bon Secours Health System from June 2017 to April 2019. Prior roles include Director of the Office of Pro-Life and Family Life at the Archdiocese of Indianapolis and Associate Director of Pastoral Care at the Diocese of Austin, where significant focus was placed on pro-life initiatives, education, and family advocacy. Academically, Rebecca Niemerg possesses a Master’s Degree in Theology with a Concentration in Bioethics from Holy Apostles College and Seminary, certification in Health Care Ethics from the National Catholic Bioethics Center, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Eastern Illinois University.
