Marrit Veenstra

Marrit Veenstra is currently a Psychologist in training at St. Antonius Ziekenhuis and serves as a Sociotherapist within various clinical and psychiatric departments through Astare Uitzendbureau. Marrit previously held positions as a research assistant at Universiteit Leiden, a summer intern at 113 Zelfmoordpreventie, and provided household support at Suver Thús to enhance the self-reliance of those in need. Prior experience includes roles as a nutritional assistant at Antonius Ziekenhuis Sneek/Emmeloord and Ziekenhuis Gelderse Vallei, along with administrative work at Veenstra|Fritom. Marrit holds a Bachelor's degree in Health and Society and a Pre-Master's degree in Medical Psychology/Healthcare Psychology from Wageningen University & Research and Leiden University, respectively, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in the same field.
